A Message from Dr. Preeti Awasthi Singh
Dear Students, Parents, and Esteemed Well-Wishers,
This vision is realised through a mission that is both purposeful and enduring. At SMRJ, we are committed to expanding our students' horizons of knowledge and wisdom while building self-discipline, resilience, and strength of character. Guided by "Sa Vidya Ya Vimuktaye", we view education as a path to liberation and holistic growth. We encourage curiosity, independent thinking, dialogue, and respect, while fostering leadership, creativity, and responsibility.
Anchored in this year's guiding principle "Where Minds Debate, Ideas Converge, and Perspectives Transform through Conscious Collaboration", the Symposium moves beyond the traditional binaries of opposition and victory. In a time when discourse is often reduced to assertion, it consciously reclaims debate as a disciplined pursuit of understanding, where the exchange of ideas is marked by rigour, respect and intellectual integrity.
"Where Minds Debate" reflects the coming together of student voices from across the nation, each shaped by diverse academic and socio-cultural contexts. Participants engage deeply with contemporary issues, question assumptions and defend positions with clarity and conviction. Yet, what distinguishes The Jaipuria Symposium is its emphasis on conscious collaboration.
The culmination of this journey lies in "Perspectives Transform." Through formats such as the Consensus Paper, participants move beyond individual advocacy to collaborative authorship, arriving at positions grounded in shared understanding and balanced judgement.
More than an event, the Symposium is a meaningful pedagogical experience, one that prepares students to navigate complexity with discernment, empathy and confidence, inspiring dialogue that is both articulate and purposeful.
