A Message from Dr. Preeti Awasthi Singh

Dear Students, Parents, and Esteemed Well-Wishers,

This vision is realised through a mission that is both purposeful and enduring. At SMRJ, we are committed to expanding our students' horizons of knowledge and wisdom while building self-discipline, resilience, and strength of character. Guided by "Sa Vidya Ya Vimuktaye", we view education as a path to liberation and holistic growth. We encourage curiosity, independent thinking, dialogue, and respect, while fostering leadership, creativity, and responsibility.

Anchored in this year's guiding principle "Where Minds Debate, Ideas Converge, and Perspectives Transform through Conscious Collaboration", the Symposium moves beyond the traditional binaries of opposition and victory. In a time when discourse is often reduced to assertion, it consciously reclaims debate as a disciplined pursuit of understanding, where the exchange of ideas is marked by rigour, respect and intellectual integrity.

"Where Minds Debate" reflects the coming together of student voices from across the nation, each shaped by diverse academic and socio-cultural contexts. Participants engage deeply with contemporary issues, question assumptions and defend positions with clarity and conviction. Yet, what distinguishes The Jaipuria Symposium is its emphasis on conscious collaboration.

The culmination of this journey lies in "Perspectives Transform." Through formats such as the Consensus Paper, participants move beyond individual advocacy to collaborative authorship, arriving at positions grounded in shared understanding and balanced judgement.

More than an event, the Symposium is a meaningful pedagogical experience, one that prepares students to navigate complexity with discernment, empathy and confidence, inspiring dialogue that is both articulate and purposeful.

Dear Students, Parents, and Esteemed Well-Wishers,

The Jaipuria Symposium seeks to create a meaningful intellectual space where students move beyond the impulse to simply argue, and instead engage with ideas in a thoughtful, balanced, and reflective manner. It encourages participants to listen with openness, appreciate differing viewpoints, and work towards solutions that are not individualistic, but collective in nature.

This platform is designed not merely to cultivate confident speakers, but to nurture individuals who are empathetic, self-aware, and capable of engaging with complexity without rushing to conclusions. Students are encouraged to question, to reflect, and to recognise that meaningful dialogue is not defined by the ability to win an argument, but by the willingness to understand.

Every stage of the symposium, from inquiry and exploration to discussion and deliberation, invites students to step beyond their personal viewpoints and contribute to a larger, shared understanding. It fosters a spirit of collaboration where differences are not seen as barriers, but as opportunities for deeper learning.

Ultimately, the Jaipuria Symposium aims to instill in students the values of intellectual humility, mutual respect, and constructive dialogue. It is through such experiences that young minds are shaped into responsible thinkers and collaborative problem-solvers.

The Symposium, to me, feels like a live thinking ecosystem, where ideas aren't just presented, but tested, reshaped, and sometimes completely reimagined. In a world that rewards quick opinions, this space asks students to slow down, engage deeply, and sit with complexity.

Here, disagreement isn't a dead end; it's where better understanding begins. What makes Jaipuria Symposium 2026 stand out is how naturally it reflects the way young people think today: collaborative, curious, and unafraid to challenge the status quo.

The uniqueness of Jaipuria Symposium 2026 lies in its commitment to empowering students to think collaboratively while building consensus and crafting logical solutions to the challenges of today and tomorrow.

It is my hope that as some of the brightest young minds engage in meaningful debate and deliberation, they not only sharpen their perspectives but also forge lasting bonds and carry back cherished memories of the experience.

At its heart, the Symposium is not merely an event, but a confluence of young voices, ideas, and possibilities, a space where thought finds expression, dialogue sparks understanding, and minds learn to listen as much as they speak.

It is a celebration of inquiry, collaboration, and the quiet courage to question, creating an atmosphere where every participant becomes both a learner and a contributor.
